Bio
Elissa D. Solomon is originally from New Orleans and has always loved performing. Her professional career began with her first National Food Store commercial at 6 years old. At a young age, she began traveling with National Touring Companies of A Christmas Carol for two consecutive seasons, followed by a leading role of Gretal in the National tour Hansel and Gretal. After moving to New York City, Elissa made her Off-Broadway Debut as Josie Cohan in 'A Yankee Doodle Dandy', as well as touring Nationally with the same role. Elissa trained in New York City with great acting teachers, including the late Herbert Berghoff; dance training at the New York City of Dance, and singing with the Broadway coach, Dee Marquit. After relocating to Florida, Elissa quickly became the lead singer with numerous Production Shows, where she traveled regionally and later became the lead singer at the luxurious Ginsuiso Hotel in Dogashima, Japan. Elissa has developed a Dynamic One-Woman Show where she was honored as The Headline Entertainment for the prestigious 'Million Dollar Club' and was awarded 'Best Entertainment' from The Miami Herald at the annual Winterfest Boat Parade in Florida. She has performed with Shecky Green; and has opened for: Pat Cooper, Mal Z. Lawrence, Don Sherman, The Drifters, and many others. Elissa has a warm and powerful singing voice and is best known for being an all-around Entertainer. Her sassy tap dancing, her comedic style, and her infectious Energy gives Elissa the earned title of 'Human Dynamo!'
