Tony Albano, a comic magician, transforms the stage into a whirlwind of fun and mystery. His high- energy act has all the mystique of a magic show mixed with an air of enticing humor, which is absolutely entertaining. Tony is known as both a comedian doing magic, and a magician doing comedy. He has presented his unique style and talents at conventions, revues, nightclubs, resort hotels, and luxury cruise ships with rave reviews. His long list of credits include performing with such national acts as The Drifters, Billy Ray Cyris, and top corporations such as Hearst Publishing, Pan Am, and CBS Television. Tony is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He caught the ‘Magic Bug’ at the tender age of twelve after seeing the movie ‘Houdini’ with Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh. He moved to New York City in the early 80’s after auditioning for the position as performer and manager at the prestigious Magic Towne House – a showplace for magicians and booking agency. Tony took his opportunity of learning from some of the great minds of magic who passed through the Magic Towne House doors. After a 3-year stay, Tony took his knowledge and branched out on his own to perform at the top hotel resorts and comedy clubs, including the Catskill Mountains and Poconos. Answering the call of the glowing cruise ship business, Tony settled in Florida to be closer to departing ports. Taking to the seas brought him more than just steady work, appreciative audiences and glowing reviews.
